Spiritual/Inspirational Poetry
 

Within

There may come a time somewhere in life,
when you experience the pain of emotional strife.
You will feel a bit lost, thinking nobody cares,
but you are never alone, as you cry in despair.

Reach out and ask for guidance to come,
you may be surprised where this comes from.
There are many mysteries that remain unsolved,
until you surrender your stubborn resolve.

Look within to examine your soul,
then reflect on whether you’re happy and whole.
Chances are, there are issues at hand,
that need your attention to end their command.

Sometimes the truth can appear so daunting,
unless you see, within, what is haunting.
Look for signs to reveal hidden clues,
for underlying problems deep within you.

Spend time alone to meditate within,
and talk to your soul, plus your spiritual kin.
Ask for the truth to surface and then…..
be ready for change, in order to mend.

Be honest, be open and don’t try to hide,
don’t bury your emotions deep inside.
Express your truth and accept who you are,
for within, is your power, that will take you afar.

We come to learn, evolve and to grow
at our own special pace, but how do we know,
"When is it time to start a new phase?"
Just look within, to your spiritual place.

You have choices, with no room for lies,
it takes hard work, so commitment’s advised.
When you are healed, within, you will know,
for passion and joy will flow from your soul.
