Spirit Is All Around

Spirit is all around - it is here both day and night,
sharing eternal guidance that tries to make things right.
It is reached within your dreams or in the thunder of each storm,
spirit has been here since the universe was born.

Sometimes it is glimpsed as you blink your eyes,
while other times it floats among the clouds in the sky.
Spirit is all around, but there is nothing you should fear,
for it wants you feeling safe, because it holds you dear.

At night while you are sleeping, it converses to impart,
which is just another way it expands to reach your heart.
Although its deepest desire is to talk with you alone,
it also realizes that first you must be shown.

Spirit is all around where you can feel it in the air,
and as it stands beside you its energy space is shared.
This may feel like chills or many times as heat,
odours can be smelled or you’ll taste what you can’t eat.

Tingling may be felt with goose-bumps on your spine,
or maybe lights go out, yet the light bulb still works fine.
Spirit comes as animals who seek you as their friend,
it can appear as anything, because there is no end.

Although you may be frightened by beliefs created from fear,
try to relax in comfort and just listen to what you hear.
Unravel to discover that existence is the same,
for we’re all energy beings who exist on different planes.

Spirit is very patient since it’s unconstrained by time,
and its main concern now is the safety for all kind.
It feels consternation for the future of this world,
but hopefully its teachings will help as each unfurls.

As time continues forward and turns another year,
wisdom secured by learning will diffuse pent-up fear.
And through greater understanding or new points of view,
newer insights are gained that uncover hidden clues.

So by carefully observing through the inner self,
connections can be made to ask for “higher” help.
And when peace for the future becomes the target goal,
then spirit is all around with this purpose to uphold.
