Spiritual/Inspirational Poetry
Procrastination
Procrastination will never, ever, get you very far,
only profoundly dimming your own shining star.
It may turn your life up-side-down letting confusion set in,
and if you allow it to continue, it will surely win.
In order to succeed in life it’s important to be clear,
about life-long dreams, plus erasing built-up fears.
It’s not good just to dream without planning real live action,
for this just encourages procrastination and dis-satisfaction.
Keep in mind your intentions and focus on what you know,
be truthful to each talent; acknowledge what drives your soul.
And in the fogginess of your mind you will feel inspired,
to clear the clutter that blocks your view to what you truly desire.
It takes dedication to overthrow bad habits that lurk in the dark,
but determination will give momentum for igniting one small spark.
For if you sit and keep wondering what steps should be deemed,
procrastination will prevent what actually should been seen.
Hard work, plus discipline will give the determination to succeed,
and strengthen your commitment in what you really believe.
But there is no guarantee for how long this process takes,
so just focus on your passion and don’t scrutinize your fate.
Build trust within yourself so that your confidence will soar,
surrender to the universe and connect this to your core.
Organize each thought to prioritize deeper meanings,
and soon procrastination is passed onto what you're dreaming.
