It is Time

It is time to make connections,
for an ultimate change of pace.
Although you may not want to hear this,
or seek, from this state of grace.

But now it is time to lend your ears,
and to listen to what others say.
Before your questions can be answered,
or before you are shown the way

You may not want to work very hard,
but it is time to buckle down.
To face each test and every challenge,
starting upward from the ground.

It is time to listen closely,
to the stillness inside your head.
Resist temptation to ignore its message,
and remember all that is said.

It is time to feel profoundly,
from deep within your heart.
And let your instincts rightly guide you,
to exactly where you should start.

It is important to trust your feelings,
and surrender to the eternal light.
It is crucial to release your grip on ego,
showing faith in guidance that's right.

It may be required to plant new roots,
with new friends who will understand.
It eases discomfort and any worries,
but still leaves you in command.

Your service is truly a blessing,
by those who surround you now.
So as their mentor or confidant,
it is time to stop asking, "How?"

Solid bonds that you form hereafter,
will grow stronger everyday.
So it's important not to keep waiting,
otherwise it continues the delay.

It is time to learn from each other,
sharing gifts that you truly need.
And if you provide dedication,
it is exactly what you will receive.
