Heartbreaking Loss
In times of heartbreaking loss,
you may feel as if your life has been snuffed out.
And the pain can sear so deeply,
burning….until you feel compelled to scream and shout.
"Why me, oh why is this happening to me?"
these bursts of despair may easily bubble forth.
But in your loss, there are reasons,
with many lessons to learn, of course.
Life, as you perceive it, is nothing but a brief journey,
that is meant to end in joy and peace.
Before the soul returns to its universal home,
once its physical host takes its final breath and is released.
Instead of feeling sorrow and loss,
for what you think is lost forever more.
Focus your attention on all that you have gained,
until you feel this from the very centre of your core.
You have been blessed,
by those who graced you with their loving presence.
So in life and also in death,
you will always sense the life force of their energy essence.
What you consider heartbreaking loss,
that sorrowfully affects your present condition.
This is nothing but a change, from one state to another,
to be regarded as an energy transition.
Now you are left behind,
to finish your journey here on the earth plane.
While your loved ones exist on another level,
that may be seen by some, as somewhat the same.
All is not lost, and what you think as heartbreaking loss,
is actually a gift.
That teaches you acceptance and gratitude,
before it's time for you to make a similar shift.
So for now, smile upon the memories,
that your loved ones leave as a legacy of their love and care.
And no doubt, as each new day passes,
your sorrow will become much easier to bear.
If you always remember what you each shared,
and what was more important to both.
It will turn your heartbreaking loss into fulfillment,
that propels your soul's most positive growth.
