Guardian Angel

Guardian Angel, I ask you to be,
my light and guidance that will help me to see
beyond my perception that’s intangible to touch,
I trust and hold faith without knowing too much.

Each night before sleeping I know I can pray,
for answers to questions, just to hear what you say.
And during the daylight with you at my side,
I feel safe and protected with you as my guide.

You bridge the gap between heaven and Earth,
staying right by my side since the day of my birth.
Giving gentle directions for which way to turn,
Guardian Angel, you inspire me to learn.

I know my well-being is important to you,
so my soul can evolve in this lifetime too.
And if ever I sink into gloom or despair,
Guardian Angel, you are always right there.

Your presence is felt through feelings of love,
or signs and signals that are sent from above.
But until this awareness is awakened in me,
blindness persists for what I cannot see.

Guardian Angel, there is no greater task,
than to come to my aid each time that I ask.
You always remain consistent and true,
and never complain that it’s too much to do.

Your mission of love is one that’s so great,
because nothing deters you; not even hate.
So Guardian Angel, I just want you to know,
I give thanks and gratitude for helping me grow.
