Basic Rules for Connecting

  1. Avoid alcohol or mind-altering drugs beforehand
  2. Avoid chewing gum or eating candy during connection (keeps digestive system working)
  3. Avoid eating a heavy meal, instead, eat a light, easily digestible meal at least 1-hr. beforehand (otherwise risk indigestion and stomach pain)
  4. Avoid if extremely tired or ill
  5. Drink lots of water to avoid dehydration, it helps ground you and flushes toxins from your body
  6. Eat a protein snack afterwards for further grounding (E.g. nuts, protein bar)
  7. State intention beforehand and express thanks of gratitude afterwards
  8. Wear a light covering for added warmth
  9. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, as you may expand while running energy
