Burning Desire

A burning desire is like a candle flame,
that never flinches or goes out.
Instead, it warms your inner desire,
to reach out - without fear or doubt.

And with unrelenting confidence,
no matter what the score.
Disbelief or skepticism,
only motivates you more.

It’s the force deep within you,
that enables to have what you want.
For it’s never based on greed,
but from feelings that seem to haunt.

For if your soul isn’t satisfied,
or you haven’t tried your best.
Your burning desire will fan the flames,
to help you pass each test.

And to live life independently,
will push you to excel.
Going beyond your wildest dreams,
where nothing can make you fail.

No matter how many obstacles,
hide before the finish line.
With determination and strength,
each event will turn out fine.

And if you strive for a life,
that is filled with love…. above all.
Your passion in achieving this,
is your soul’s greatest call.

For without contented fulfillment,
of your soul’s haunting cry.
Your flames of burning desire,
will flicker and surely die.
